SERTA Workshop September 2019
The next SERTA workshop will take place on Sunday 29th September 2019 at West Horsley Village Hall with Anne Taylor from Buckie. Anne is Convenor of RSCDS E&T committee elect, Director of Summer School elect and a successful tutor and teacher. It promises to be an interesting workshop.
At this workshop on 29th September, Anne will lead us in considering
“How to do it and How to teach it”
Specifically, some formations which may or may not be badly done or awkward to teach and especially those that may have given problems during the Teachers’ courses.
We are grateful that Anne is willing to share her knowledge gained through a lifetime of teaching both adults and children.
Anne will also explain about the new Dancing Achievement Award (DAA).
Judith Muir will be our musician at this event. Judith is known to many as part of the Craigellachie Band (led by her husband Ian Muir) but has also played for many classes including teachers’ courses locally and at St Andrews and we are delighted to welcome her back to SERTA and that she will be accompanying Anne for this workshop.
Please note our new venue, West Horsley Village Hall, The Street, West Horsley, Surrey, KT24 6DD www.westhorsleyvillagehall.org/directions/
Don’t forget, SERTA members get £2 discount on workshop fees.
